Despite the looming date of my departure for K-town, working full-time hasn't left me a lot of time to ponder my not so distant future. Today I finished and emailed what I hope is the last of the paperwork that my country desk needs. Now I play the waiting game. And thanks to this handy dandy Google countdown gadget, everyone else can play the waiting game with me.
I promise that this blog will get more exciting. Don't abandon me just yet.

Given my not-so-frequent access to the interwebs in K-stan I was never very good about updating this thing. Let's see if I can do any better now that I'm back in America with hi-speed internet at my fingertips every day.
